With only a couple more spots left to fill on the Shield roster GM Gord Carey has arranged a pair of exhibition matches versus the Elliot Lake Bobcats over the Labour Day weekend. These series should be interesting because the Shield and the Bobcats were the top two teams in the newly created North Division of the GMHL.

There are two games scheduled that weekend with the first coming on Friday August 29th at 7:00 PM followed by an afternoon game the next day on Saturdat August 30th at 1:00 PM. Both games will take place at the Gravenhurst Centennial Center. This years edition of the Shield is shaping up to be the best one yet so come on out and support the Shield!

All tickets are $7.00 for Youth, Adults, and Seniors. Season tickets will also be on sale at the games so come prepared if you are interested in saving yourself a bundle for the season.
